Low Cost Modular Bug Out Shelter That Can Be Assembled By 2 People In Under 30 Minutes

Modular Bug Out Shelter

We’re always on the look out for new ideas for shelters in the case of an emergency, or disaster situation.  Recently we ran across a modular survival shelter known as the Bunkhouse.

The Bunkhouse can be assembled by 2 people in 30 minutes or less. The cost is only $1595. It has some nice features that include:

  • insulated walls
  • heating
  • air conditioning
  • solar power options for lighting and 110 outlets
  • 6 bunks per unit
  • toilet
  • sink
  • shower
  • water storage
  • and more!

We love the nice features of this modular shelter which is made by CompassionShelters.com. The Bunkhouse is their smallest shelter and can sleep 6, and has available toilet facilities.

The Bunkhouse could provide short-and long-term housing in a disaster, or survival situation. It is a snap-together solution that requires no tools to erect, and can be assembled by two people in 30 minutes.

Watch the video now to see how easy it is to put one of these together. When it comes to easy, inexpensive solutions for emergency housing, this makes a lot of sense!

I live in Africa, and I would love to have this, but I need to see a complete picture of the box or pallet that this comes as. I have a shipping company that I can use, but I need dimensions!

I was wondering where one could purchase one of these? There doesn’t seem to be any information on this website about the perticulars or where to get one.

We are actually going to be giving the product away. We are in the final
stage. To be totally honest we are making sure our supplier has enough
in their inventory so we have enough for all those that want one. We will
have all the details by next week.

Having lived through many hurricanes & tornados, this concept is a blessing from God!!!
It’s miserable living in the aftermath of one of these storms with no shelter, much less anything else. Only improvement would be mosquito netting for front porch & window.

The price listed in your post must be missing some numbers. I have went to the sites and for the one that sleeps six with heat/air and bathroom says it’s $20k. Under rigid tent systems. Definitely not $1565. If your price had been right I would want one now.
