How To Build A Faraday Cage And Why You Need One

The Method of the day for Survivalists:

If you are not familiar with EMP (Electro Magnetic Pulse) it is a short burst of electromagnetic energy. Such a pulse may occur in the form of a radiated electric or magnetic field or conducted electrical current depending on the source, and may be natural such as a solar flair, or man-made such as a nuclear bomb.

An EMP will fry ALL your electronics. Throughout history there have been EMPs from the sun that would have fried everything, and of course there were the nuclear bombs in Japan.

Chances are it may happen again. Your electronic devices can be easily protected by making a Faraday Cage. A Faraday Cage is very simple to make as you will see in this video, and can be made for $15 or less.

If you are survivalist, or prepper it’s a good idea to store some of your electronics in a Faraday Cage. The video will also discuss what items you should place in it.

One of  the  best  way to test your home made Faraday Cage is to put your  cell  phone in it, close the  cage and then call your cell phone. Let it ring several times.

Hang up and open the Faraday Cage and  see if there is a missed call. If there is a  missed call  you’ll  need a better Faraday Cage. This will make more sense once you watch the video.
