It might not be the height of fashion, but …

Howdy… Jason here and they may not be the height of fashion, right now, but rain ponchos are a great addition to your bug out bag.

Here are just three uses for them …

They can be used to turn nasty dirty water into pure water fit to drink by positioning them at an angle over the top of the dirty water. Heating the water and then allowing the steam to condense on the underside of the poncho and trickle down into another container.

You can use them as an emergency shelter.

You can collect rain water in them.
